2007 TBSA Fall League Starts Sunday Night

EDISON, NJGMC Hoops has learned from former Colonia Head Coach, and TBSA League Director, Ken Pace, that the 2007 TBSA Fall League will begin on Sunday evening with four sets of games on two courts starting at 5:00 PM. Last year, there were twelve teams in the league, which ran once a week on Thursdays. However, this year, there are twenty teams in the league including ten from the Greater Middlesex Conference. This year’s league sports teams from five other conferences including: Watchung Conference, Colonial Valley Conference, Skyland Conference, Mountain Valley Conference, and the Patriot Conference.

Some of the top teams include 2006 GMCT Champion, 2007 North Jersey Section 2 Group III champion, and 2007 GMC Hoops Trophy winner, Colonia, 2007 GMCT Champion, Piscataway, Elizabeth, Trenton, St. Joseph’s, Cardinal McCarrick, Roselle Catholic, and Notre Dame of Lawrenceville, which defeated state powerhouse, St. Augustine’s Prep of Richland in the Quarterfinal round of the 2007 Non-Public A South State Tournament. As always, the games will be held at The Basketball Shooting Academy on Carter Drive in Edison. Games will be played on adjacent courts, Court 2 and Court 3. As mentioned earlier, there will be four games per night on both courts on the hour at 5:00 PM, 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM, and 8:00 PM. TBSA has just begun its second year of operation after opening last August.
