NEPTUNE, NJ–On Friday afternoon, GMC Hoops was notified by Joe Stein of the Hoop Group that the opening week of action in the 2009 Hoop Group Spring League at Rebounds has been postponed for a week. The reason for the schedule change is because many schools will be closed next week for Spring Break. The League will begin play on Monday night, April 20th. Last year, the league was postponed for a week, but that was to accommodate more teams.
