Sayreville Representing GMC Again in Red Bank Holiday Tourney
LITTLE SILVER, NJ–On Saturday, GMC Hoops received information including the seeds and schedule for the 2016 Albert E. Martin Buc Classic at Red Bank Regional High School. Eight teams are competing in the tournament including six that participated last year.
Last year’s champion, Ranney is competing in a holiday tournament down in Florida. However, entering the tourney this year is last year’s Shore Conference Tournament champions, Mater Dei, which was awarded the top seed, and will face eighth seeded Freehold Boro in the opening round on December 27th.
Sayreville, the third seed, is the lone representative from the Greater Middlesex Conference in the tourney, and will face sixth seeded St. John Vianney in the first round. The tournament will take place over three days: Tuesday, December 27th, Wednesday, December 28th, and Friday, December 30th. Below is the schedule for the three days:
