New Brunswick Blue and South Brunswick Finishes Tied for First
NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ–On Thursday afternoon, GMC Hoops received more information on the 2016 Odie Page Summer League from newly hired New Brunswick boys basketball coach, Samir Sanu. The Championship Game of this summer league was played on Thursday night. Below are the final regular season standings:

- New Brunswick Blue (7-2)
- South Brunswick (7-2)
- Elizabeth (6-3)
- Bishop Ahr Red (5-4)
- New Brunswick White (4-5)
- Piscataway Yellow (3-6)
- Piscataway Black (2-7)
- Bishop Ahr White (2-7)
South Brunswick opted out of the playoffs. New Brunswick ended up the top seed while Piscataway was seeded second. Elizabeth was seeded third, and Bishop Ahr was seeded fourth. New Brunswick defeated Bishop Ahr in the semifinals while Elizabeth knocked off Piscataway in the other semi. New Brunswick and Elizabeth played each other in the Championship Game on Thursday night at New Brunswick Middle School. Results, notes, and highlights from that contest will be posted shortly.
