Highland Park Returns to play in annual Dunellen Tourney
DUNELLEN, NJ–Earlier this week, GMC Hoops obtained the 2019 Shello-Santy Holiday Tourney Schedule. Once again, Dunellen High School hosts the tournament this season, but the event will have a more traditional feel. All four teams competing in the tourney are from the local area. After not appearing in the tournament a year ago, Highland Park returns to action while North Plainfield returns to the event after a much longer absence.
Consquently, three teams in the tourney field are from the Greater Middlesex Conference: Dunellen, Highland Park, and Middlesex. Beginning after Christmas, opening round games in the Shello-Santy Tournament are scheduled for Thursday, December 26th. Finally, the Championship and Consolation games will take place on Saturday, December 28th. All games will be played at Faber Elementary School in Dunellen. - North Plainfield vs. Dunellen, 7:00 PM
2019 Shello-Santy Tournament–Final Round–December 28th
- Consolation–Highland Park-Middlesex loser vs. North Plainfield-Dunellen loser, 3:00 PM
- Championship–Highland Park-Middlesex winner vs. North Plainfield-Dunellen winner, 7:00 PM
