This “rematch” was much closer on the computer screen than the T of C matchup in real life. The Falcons appeared to be on the ropes early, but hung in there, and went blow for blow with Plainfield down the stretch in what turned out to be a classic. The Falcons overcame a five point deficit late to pull out a 46-44 win thanks to the efforts of Quenton DeCosey, who earned Player of the Game honors by scoring 8 of his 12 points in the fourth quarter including a three pointer to tie the game, and the go ahead basket with less than 30 seconds left. Karl Towns led the Falcons with 15 points while Brian Fitzpatrick became an unlikely hero off the bench with 9 points. Dijon Allen-Jordan led all scorers with 16 points for the Cardinals while Sekou Harris chipped in with 14 and Justin Sears added 6.</p>
