LINDEN, NJ–After watching the Championship Game from the 2011 Middlesex County College Summer League, GMC Hoops traveled out to Linden High School for the final game of the night in the Tuesday/Thursday Division of the 2011 Linden Summer League between St. Joseph’s and Paterson Kennedy. The Knights jumped out to a 16-2 lead, and never really looked back en route to a 59-40 victory. Below is the play-by-play from this game.

First Quarter

3:35–arrive–PK up 14-2–makes two FTs for a 16-2 lead.
3:28–STJ–basket for a 16-4 lead.
3:15–PK–offensive rebound and putback for a 18-4 lead.
3:07–STJ–Salman Hasan–three pointer for an 18-7 PK lead.
2:30–PK–draws foul, and makes 1 of 2 FTs for a 19-7 lead.
2:05–STJ–Hasan–misses jumper.
1:49–PK–turnover.
1:30–STJ–Hasan misses shot–Owen McCleod with offensive rebound, and misses…Mike Cintron with offensive rebound, but misses jumper.

6:11–PK–banks in jump hook for a 39-19 lead.

5:32–STJ–McCleod fights hard for offensive rebound, and scores on the follow for a traditional three point play, and a 55-36 PK lead.
