GMC Hoops Highlights–February 7, 2012–Edison @ South Plainfield–White Division Clash

Here are video highlights from the second half of action between Edison and South Plainfield at SPHS. For the second time in four days, Edison defeated South Plainfield to sweep the season series between the two teams. The Eagles led 24-16 at the half before the Tigers opened up the second half with a 13-3 run including a three by Ryan Marcoux for a 29-27 lead.

South Plainfield led by one going into the fourth, but EHS opened the final frame with an 11-4 run including baskets by Amir Brown, Qassim Bass-Ali, and Marcus Cudjoe to take a 39-33 lead en route to a 44-39 win. Jeff Renner led the Eagles in a winning cause with 10 points while Claude Payne led the Tigers with a game high 15 points while Justin Glover chipped in with 10.
