Colonia Competing Again In Annual Rahway Holiday Tourney
RAHWAY, NJ–On Friday afternoon, GMC Hoops obtained the schedule for the upcoming John “Butch” Kowal Holiday Tournament, which is begins Friday, December 26th, and continues Sunday, December 28th, and finishes up on Monday, December 30th at the Rahway High School. Colonia is the lone GMC team scheduled to compete in this holiday tourney. Also participating is defending Central Jersey Group I Champion, and last year’s Butch Kowal tourney champion, Point Pleasant Beach. Below is the schedule for the upcoming tourney:
2014 John “Butch” Kowal Tournament–Opening Round–December 26th
- Holmdel vs. Rahway, 7:00 PM
2014 John “Butch” Kowal Tournament–Semifinals–December 28th
- Semifinal #1: Point Pleasant Beach vs. Rahway, 6:00 PM
- Semifinal #2: Colonia vs. Union winner, 7:30 PM
2014 John “Butch” Kowal Tournament–Consolation and Championship–December 30th
- Consolation: Point Pleasant Beach vs. Colonia, 6:00 PM
- Championship: Rahway vs. Colonia, 7:30 PM
