SOUTH AMBOY, NJ–On Wednesday night, July 10th, the eighth week of action continued at the 2008 Raritan Bay Summer League in the air conditioned confines of South Amboy Middle/High School. Like it has been most of the summer, there was a full slate of four games starting at 5:30 PM, and continuing at 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM before wrapping up with the finale at 8:30 PM. GMC Hoops did not attend any of the action in this league since it was at the Elizabeth Summer League to see some of the action there. Below are the results from Wednesday night’s action thanks to Tom Reilly, who helps run the league:
- Monroe 52–St. Stan’s 17–7th and 8th Grade Division
- G-Force 52–Monmouth Breakers 49–High School Division
- Roselle 42–Sayreville Bombers 41–7th and 8th Grade Division
- East Brunswick 57–Roselle 40–High School Division
GMC Hoops hopes to catch some action from this league later this week. Raritan Bay will not have any games the following week, and will resume play on July 28th.
