Piscataway Falls to Plainfield
BRIDGEWATER, NJ–On Thursday night, GMC Hoops traveled over to Bridgewater-Raritan High School to take in some of the action from the 2016 Bridgewater Summer League. Piscataway was in action as the Chiefs took on Plainfield in a neighborhood rivalry match-up.
P-Way jumped out to a 6-2 lead on two threes including one by Jordan Davidson, but the Cardinals responded with an 11-3 tear over a span of 5:24 for a 13-9 lead, and continued to pull away from there. Plainfield led by as many as 12 on a several occasions en route to a 52-40 victory.
East Brunswick was also in action against Summit, but since the Odie Page Summer League Championship was taking place at New Brunswick Middle School on Thursday night, GMC Hoops wasn’t able to see the Bears in action.
