Colonia JV League Returning This Summer

League’s 16th Season Set to Begin the Week of June 27th

COLONIA, NJ–On Wednesday evening, GMC Hoops received word from Colonia JV boys basketball head coach, Brian O’Lone, that the Colonia JV Summer League is returning for a 16th season this summer. The league will feature players presently in the 9th or 10th grade that are projected to play JV next year.

The league, sponsored by the Woodbridge Township Recreation Department, will run during late June and July. Each team is guaranteed 7 or 8 games plus playoffs. Game times will range from 5:00 until 8:00 PM, and all of the contests will be played at Woodbridge High School. All teams that participate in the league with receive 12 team jerseys.

The league, which is slated to start around June 27th, is covered under the Woodbridge Township Recreation Department’s insurance, however, coaches will need to have all their players fill out a registration form when they become available. League fees are $500.00 per team of 12 players. Team registration is handled on a first come first serve basis. Make check payable to Brian O’Lone.
