GMC Football Preview–Monroe @ New Brunswick

NORTH EDISON, NJ–Week eight brings coverage of our second game involving two teams from the Greater Middlesex Conference’s White Division. The site had seen Monroe earlier this season as well, but that was in a crossover game against East Brunswick of the GMC Red. The Zebras of New Brunswick will be hosting the Monroe Falcons in a matchup that will determine the 2009 Champion in the GMC White Division. Both teams are on winning streaks with Monroe having won four in a row over Edison (45-0) and North Brunswick (29-15), Perth Amboy (35-8), and Stevens (40-0) while the Zebras have won five straight including victories over Carteret (14-0), J.P. Stevens (27-6), Perth Amboy (20-14), Edison (35-7), and North Brunswick (31-7). Here are the particulars for this game:

According to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service Office in Mount Holly, New Jersey, we have basically a repeat of the weather for the past several weeks although, but the rain should hold off for the time being. Skies will be cloudy tonight with a chance of light rain or drizzle after 10:00 PM. There is also a chance of patchy fog after 10 PM as well. Temperatures will hold mostly in the 50s with the low dropping to about 51. South wind at about 7 mph while chance of precipitation is 20 percent. The chance of rain is greater tomorrow as temperatures will soar to the low 70s. Showers will occur in the afternoon and evening with the chance of rain going up to 70 percent. Dress appropriately for the weather tonight, but keep the rain gear at home.

Follow Route 27 South to Suydam Street, and then make a left. Follow to Livingston Ave, and make a right. The school will be on the right side.

FROM ROUTE 1

Take Route 1 Southbound to the Livingston Ave exit. Follow Livingston Ave through North Brunswick into New Brunswick. School will be on the left.

FROM ROUTE 287

Take the exit for Route 1 South. Take Route 1 South to Livingston Avenue exit. Follow Livingston Avenue until you get to the school, which will be on the left hand side.
