SOMERVILLE, NJ–On Sunday afternoon, GMC Hoops traveled to Somerset County again, and Immaculata High School to take in some of the action from the final day of the 2012 Monsginor Kelly Christmas Tournament. Colonia was in action against Holy Trinity of Long Island in the opening game. After Bleriot Thompson scored the first four points of the game for the Patriots, Holy Trinity went on a 22-0 tear over a span of seven minutes to take a 22-4 lead, and never looked back in a 68-52 win. Bleriot Thompson earned All Tourney honors along with Damon Coleman of Holy Trinity. Below are some game notes from the contest.
