MONROE, NJ–In the Championship Game of the South Division of the 2015 MJBL Summer League, Monroe turned in another superb team effort to defeat the Central Jersey Hawks 9B squad, 57-43. Trailing 9-8 at the 13:30 mark of the first half, the Falcons put together a 22-6 surge over a span of 11:39 to take a 30-15 lead. Then, after the Hawks scored the last four points of the first half, and the first bucket of the second half to pull within 9, Monroe scored 19 of the next 31 points to take a 49-33 lead, and cruised from there for the 14 point victory. Monroe avenged its only loss of the summer at MJBL, and finished with a 9-1 record overall. Below are game notes from the action:
