GMC Hoops Game Notes–East Brunswick vs. Middletown North–Linden Fall League–October 30, 2013

LINDEN, NJ–On Wednesday night, East Brunswick took on Middletown North in the 2nd game of a tripleheader at the 2013 Linden Fall League at the Linden P.A.L. Gary Baumer continued to be in a good shooting rhythm after a strong second half against Woodbridge last night. The senior guard scored all 18 of his points on threes as he went 6 of 10 from beyond the arc to lead EB to a 50-34 victory over the Lions from Monmouth County. Baumer connected on three of his treys in the first quarter when the Bears broke away from a 5-5 tie with a 13-7 finish for an 18-12 lead. He then opened the second half with two more threes during an 8-0 run for a 37-21 lead. Matt Ross chipped in with 9 points while Amir Bell added 8 points including a trey to open the fourth for a 46-26 lead. Carl Taylor also contributed with 6 points.
