GMC Hoops Game Notes–Edison vs. Scotch Plains–Rahway Summer League Playoffs–July 27, 2016

RAHWAY, NJ–In the second semifinal from the 2016 Rahway Summer League played at Rahway High School, second seeded Edison, winners of seven straight since starting the summer at 0-3, took on third seeded Scotch Plains, a team the Eagles defeated during the regular season. Trailing 31-24 with 8:45 left, the Cardiac Eagles rallied with an 11-4 spurt that included a three from the right wing by Joe Cudakiewicz to help tie the game at 35-35 and force overtime. Then, in the extra session, Justin Turner scored all 7 of Edison’s points to give the Eagles a berth in an all Edison Township final with a 42-37 victory. Below are game notes from the action:
