BRIDGEWATER, NJ–On Thursday afternoon, GMC Hoops traveled over to Bridgewater-Raritan High School to take in some of the action from the summer league there. Piscataway was in action against Plainfield in a neighborhood rivalry game. The Chiefs jumped out to a 6-2 lead early on after a three from Jordan Davidson, but Plainfield responded with an 11-3 spurt to take a 13-9 lead. The Cardinals then added 16 of the last 24 points of the first half to take a 29-17 lead into the intermission, and didn’t let Piscataway get closer than seven points the rest of the way en route to a 52-40 victory.
