NORTH BRANCH, NJ–In the nightcap game of week three action at the 2014 Immaculata Fall League being played over at Raritan Valley Community College, the South Plainfield Tigers took on an old Mid-State rival in Watchung Hills. The Tigers and Warriors went back and forth in this battle before Watchung Hills went on a 7-0 run over a span of 4:28 to take a 29-23 lead. The Warriors led by as many as 11 points late in the second half, but had to fight off a rally by South Plainfield to win, 45-37. Below are game notes from the action.
