GMC Hoops Highlights–December 27, 2014–Highland Park vs. Middlesex–Shello-Santy Tourney

Here are highlights from the action in the opening round game of the 2014 Shello-Santy Tournament at the Faber in Dunellen between Highland Park and Middlesex.

The Blue Jays jumped out to a 19-4 first quarter lead, and led by 26 at the half before opening the third on an 11-0 run to take a commanding 47-9 lead en route to a 62-26 victory. Zack Cerebe led a balanced Middlesex scoring attack with 13 points while Ryan Coke had three first half treys to give the Jays a 36-9 lead at the break, and he ended up with 12 points.

Adam Wick added 9 points while Vince Chiera and David Spencer each chipped in with 8. With the win, Middlesex got its first victory of the season, and improved to 1-2 while Highland Park fell to 0-3.
