Here are highlights from the action in the Dunellen varsity girls basketball team’s win over Manville in the opening round of the 2016 Shello-Santy Tournament at the Faber in Dunellen.
The Lady Destroyers jumped out to a 25-9 lead in the second quarter, and cruised from there for a 56-34 victory. Alexandra Reidy led Dunellen with 18 points while Alison McGrath chipped in with 16. Manville was led by Julie Pankowski, who had a game high 19 points in a losing cause.
