Here are highlights from the action in the 2017 Perth Amboy Freshmen Tournament Consolation Game between fourth seeded North Brunswick and third seeded South Brunswick at Perth Amboy High School.
Led by Akhil Edekar (17 points) and Raejon Benjamin (15 points), South Brunswick stormed out to a 38-23 lead only to have North Brunswick rally with 24-8 surge over the first 13:09 of the second half for a 47-46 lead with just under three minutes to play.
South Brunswick would pull out the win though by finishing the game on a 13-7 spurt for the 59-54 victory. Taaje Welcome and football Myles Bailey led the Freshmen Raiders in defeat with 13 and 12 points respectively.
