Here are highlights from the action at the 2014 GMCT Semifinal between fifth seeded Colonia and top seeded St. Joseph’s on Tuesday night. Karl Towns opened up the game with a thundering one handed dunk and then Marques Townes added a layup before Raven Owen and Breein Tyree netted threes to highlight a 16-4 run to open the game. From there, St. Joe’s continued to pour it on with a 26-11 surge over the rest of the first half for a 42-15 halftime lead. The Falcons then went on to win easily, 73-49 to lock up its seventh straight GMCT finals appearance. Leading the way for Joes was the duo of Wade Baldwin and Marques Townes with a game high 15 points while Karl Towns added 13 along with a plethora of blocked shots. Raven Owen and Breein Tyree each had 9 points. J.J. Corbett led Colonia with 14 while Pat Naguib chipped in with 10.
