Here are highlights from the action in the 2016 East Brunswick/GMC JV Boys Championship Game between 2nd seeded South Brunswick and top seeded North Brunswick. In a defensive struggle, the JV Raiders of NBTHS took an 18-14 halftime lead as South Brunswick went 5 of 21 in the first half including missing 12 of its first 13 shots. The Junior Vikings rallied with a strong second half surge of 26-14 to take a 40-32 lead midway through the fourth.
However, North Brunswick rallied with a 15-5 tear the rest of the way including the game winning three point shot by sophomore guard, Jordan Salisbury for the 47-45 victory. Avery Clagget led the JV Raiders with 15 points. Jordan Salisbury added 12 and Jhonell Brown chipped in with 10. ris James led the JV Vikes with 13 including three treys in the second half while Tavian Alford chipped in with 12.
