Playing without the likes of Letrell West and Alonzo Frink, the Falcons still managed to go toe to toe with the Jaguars for the first quarter and a half, trailing only 20-17 at the 4:29 mark of the second period.
St. Joe’s then finished the first half on a 13-6 spurt including 8 of the last 9 points to take a 30-26 lead at the intermission. The third quarter saw the Falcons pick up right where they left off as Mike Granda connected on a three at the 9:42 mark of the third to spark a 34-12 surge that included 8 points and a couple assists by Dexter Jackson for a 64-38 lead late in the fourth before East Orange Campus scored 8 of the last 11 points to round out the 66-46 St. Joe’s win.
