Here are highlights from the Central Jersey Jayhawks JV 58-52 win over South Amboy in the fourth week of action at the 2014 Raritan Bay Summer League. The Jayhawks JV, which soundly defeated South River two weeks earlier (48-33), once again demonstrated that they have talent to defeat more veteran competition. Led by the likes of James Lee of Colts Neck, Noah Westbrook, Mitchell Strandberg, Eric O’Keefe, Anthony Schimbeno, and Martin Akerele, the Jayhawks JV play a solid team game with good passing, ball handling, and shooting. South Amboy, led by Kiere Ford, Ryan O’ Leary, Sean Kudelka, and Tim Kales, would give another solid battle. In all four games that GMC Hoops saw the Guvs play at Raritan Bay this summer, South Amboy went 1-3, but all three losses were by 10 points or less.
