NORTH BRUNSWICK, NJ–On Tuesday night, the opening round of the 2012 NJSIAA Central Jersey Group IV State Tournament took place with a rematch of last year’s state playoff semifinal between Rancocas Valley of the Burlington County Scholastic League, and the Raiders of North Brunswick, the runner-up in the Greater Middlesex Conference. The 13th seeded Red Devils had a 33-29 lead at the half, but fourth seeded North Brunswick rallied with a 23-11 surge in the third quarter, and a 9-3 spurt to begin the fourth for a 61-47 lead en route to a 69-59 victory.
