Ahr, EB, and P-Way Come Up Winners in Week 7 Action

SOMERVILLE, NJ–On Sunday, the seventh week of action took place at the 2016 Immaculata Fall League as it returned to Immaculata High School. There was a full slate of 9 games starting at 12:00 PM and finishing up a little bit before 9:00 PM in the evening.

All five teams from the Greater Middlesex Conference were in action with Bishop Ahr, East Brunswick, and Piscataway all winning. The Trojans got the GMC’s first win of the today at Immaculata with a 42-30 decision over Summit of Union County. Then, East Brunswick jumped out to a 17-5 lead, and led 32-14 in the second half before having to hold off a late rally by Mendham for a 37-29 win.

The most impressive performance of the day for the GMC schools was put in by Piscataway. With a complete team effort that featured a great deal of stifling defense, the Chiefs turned in a dominant 59-16 victory over Bound Brook. Led by the likes of Mattias Arrindell, Jordan Davidson, Cameron Saintil, Deandre Scott, Tyree Barba-Bey, and Parris Washington, the Chiefs jumped out to a 17-2 lead, and never took the foot off the gas en route to the easy win.
