WOODBRIDGE, NJ–Earlier this month, GMC Hoops learned from Bob Gaydos, the Director of the HawksBasketball Association, that there will not be a Fall-Ball Classic this year. The league, which had been running over at Plainfield High School the past several years, was unable to get a gym to play games. Since 1994, the Fall-Ball Classic had been one of the top fall leagues in the area, and it reached its zenith in 2003 and 2004 with 24 teams competing both years.
