I wasn’t able to see this scrimmage, but thanks to a friend “in-the-know”, I can provide a few highlights.
The varsity squads played six quarters of basketball with the Rams and Perth Amboy splitting the six by winning three apiece.
It was a pretty even game – South River ran the fast break well and scored a lot off points off it.
There was fairly even scoring for the Rams as well – Jimmy Witkowski, Eric Seawright, Ed Dumas, and Steve Moore had 12 to 14 points each respectively.
The next scrimmage for South River is Tuesday, December 11th at home against Keansburg.
