Summer League Hoops Season Wraps Up This Weekend

Trips To Summer Prime Time Shootout In Allentown Concludes Another Busy Summer

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ–On Friday, GMC Hoops will be traveling out to Allentown High School in the Upper Freehold District of Monmouth County to take in a slew of games from the opening day of action at the 2011 Summer Prime Time Shootout. Several teams from the Greater Middlesex Conference will be participating including: East Brunswick, Piscataway, and St. Joseph’s.

Over the course of the next three days, there will be 38 hours worth of games played between teams from all over the Mid-Atlantic in two gyms. Earlier in the week, GMC Hoops was down at the Hoop Group Headquarters to see some action from the 2011 Hoop Group Headquarters Team Camp. Cardinal McCarrick was one of the schools involved as it joined up with Neptune to form one of the eight squads competing in the event.

The site was down in Neptune for only one night, but plans to capture at least some of the action from all three days at the Summer Prime Time Shootout. In total, the site has seen and covered action from 13 summer leagues and 7 team camps or showcase events this summer.
