
View the bracket for the 1970 Middlesex County JV Boys Basketball Tournament, which took place from February 14th to February 25th. Sixteen schools participated in this JV Tourney. Perth Amboy was the top seed and New Brunswick was the second seed.
First-round games were played at Carteret and Piscataway High Schools. Quarterfinal games were played at Piscataway HS. Semifinal contests were played at Cedar Ridge and Woodbridge High Schools.
The Championship Game was played as a part of a JV/Varsity Championship Doubleheader at the Rutgers University College Avenue Gymnasium. Metuchen, led by Tom Flaherty, turned in an incredible run by defeating No. 2 seed New Brunswick (79-57) in the semis, and knocking off top seed Perth Amboy (77-72) in the Championship.
