View the bracket for the 1977 Middlesex County Girls Basketball Tournament, which took place from February 14th to February 25th. This was the 3rd annual Middlesex County Girls Basketball Tournament.
First-round and Quarterfinal games were played at East Brunswick, Edison, Highland Park, J.F. Kennedy, North Brunswick, Sayreville, South River, St. Joseph’s, St. Mary’s (became Cardinal McCarrick) and St. Thomas Aquinas High Schools.
Semifinal contests were held at J.P. Stevens High School. The Championship Game was part of a tripleheader at the Rutgers University College Avenue Barn. Top seeded Piscataway, led by the 1,000 point scorer, Valerie Walker, won its first girls title by defeating neighborhood and fellow Mid-State Conference rival, South Plainfield (37-34).
