View the bracket for the 1994 Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament, which took place from February 16th to February 26th. The 1993-94 season marked the first year of the open tournament where any GMC school could participate.
Preliminary and First-round games were played at the higher-seeded teams. The wintry weather of 1994 was brutal and forced postponements and changes to the schedule and tourney venues. A snowstorm caused the roof at Middlesex County College’s Gymnasium to collapse. So, the 1994 GMCT Quarterfinals took place at East Brunswick.
Another snowstorm knocked out the GMCT Semifinal matchups scheduled for the Rutgers Athletic Center on February 23rd. Instead, the semis were played at two different sites: East Brunswick and Sayreville War Memorial High Schools. The Championship Game was held at the Rutgers Athletic Center.
