South River’s Alex Grospe was one of three players in the Greater Middlesex Conference that scored their 2,000th career point this past season. Grospe led the GMC with a 30-points-per-game scoring average and had the 2nd most points scored in 2024-25 with 780.

Colonia’s Aiden Derkack was first in total points with 790 but was third with nearly a 25.0 ppg scoring average. Top scorers expected to return in 2025-26 are East Brunswick’s Matt Mikulka, South Amboy’s John Kelly, Sayreville’s Chidi Chukwurah and Sam Jones, and J.F. Kennedy’s Jayden Cummings and Grant Lorentzen.

Watch North Brunswick’s Tommy Koroma in action during the Raiders’ 63-56 GMC White Division victory over East Brunswick on January 30th. Koroma, who scored his 1,000th career point in this contest, ranked 18th in the GMC with a 15.4 points per game average.
