2009 GMC Hoops College Coverage–Results–November 18th

MADISON, NJ–On Wednesday night, GMC Hoops traveled up 287 North, and then Route 124 East to Drew University to see the Rangers in action against crosstown rival, FDU-Florham in the Battle of Madison Avenue. It was quite a game as well.

Although former Dunellen standout, Travis DeNapoli was unable to play because he was at home with the flu, there was still plenty of GMC players to go around as former J.P. Stevens standout, Andrew Biancosino, who recently got medical clearance to play again after missing last year with a knee injury, and former Bishop Ahr standout, Mike Williamson, represented FDU-Florham.

In a game that saw neither team lead by more than 12 points, have 12 lead changes, and six ties, and go to overtime, Drew outscored FDU-Florham by an 11-6 margin in the extra session to pull out the win 77-72 to earn bragging rights in the Rose City. GMC Hoops plans to travel up to Muhlenberg College in Allentown on Friday afternoon to see William Paterson take on Moravian in a tournament there.
