SOUTH AMBOY, NJ–After play on Thursday night, GMC Hoops learned from both league co-directors, Gary Lange and Tom Reilly, that the 2009 Raritan Bay Summer League will be adding more 8:30 PM games to the schedule for next week. One of the matchups include a rematch of tonight’s thriller from the High School Division between the Parlin Pride and the Sayreville Stars. On Thursday night, the Parlin Pride overcame a 28-22 early second half deficit with an 18-4 surge to take a 40-32 lead, and then after letting the Sayreville Stars tie the game up at 40-40 with 1:31 left, held on for a 49-46 victory.
