2018 Monroe Sports Center Fall League To Begin on September 17th

MSC Sports Center Still Looking to Add Teams to Its League

MONROE, NJ—Recently, GMC Hoops received information from Spotswood head coach and Director of Basketball Operations at the Monroe Sports Center, Steve Mate, that the 2018 MSC Fall League will begin play on September 17th, and it is looking for teams.

The league is looking to have both a league sub-varsity and a varsity league in this year. MSC is also looking to have a Varsity Girls Fall League as well. Each team in the league will play eight games this season. All games will be played between Sunday and Thursday of each week.

The league will run from September 17, 2018 to early November 2018. Scheduling requests will be honored. There will be also a doubleheader option. The league usually consists of teams from the Greater Middlesex Conference, Colonial Valley Conference, Burlington County Scholastic League, Shore Conference, and Skyland Conference.

Certified officials will be in charge of officiating games during the course of the season. Most of the games will be played in the air-conditioned Monroe Sports Center, but some games will be played at other locations. There will be t-shirts for the first 10 players, and additional shirts will be provided at $8 per shirt. Admission will be given: $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for kids. Season passes will also be offered.

Price for the league is $625.00 if the team registers prior to the season beginning on September 17th. After the first games are played, the price will go up to $725.00.
