Calvary Christian, Colonia, Dunellen, and St. Thomas Aquinas Win Christmas Tournaments

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ—With the holiday tournaments behind us now and the new year just getting underway, GMC Hoops takes a brief look back at what transpired over the holidays. All 31 schools of the Greater Middlesex Conference were in action during the Christmas break in numerous holiday tourneys not only in New Jersey, but also in Pennsylvania.

Only four GMC teams came away with holiday tournament first place trophies: Calvary Christian, Colonia, Dunellen, and St. Thomas Aquinas. A number of GMC teams finished 2nd in holiday tournaments around the Garden State. New Brunswick played in a Round Robin format at the Brunswick Classic, but went 2-0 to win the most games in the tourney over North Brunswick, South Brunswick, and East Brunswick.

Below are the GMC holiday tourney winners and what tournaments they won over the Christmas break.
