2022-23 GMC Hoops Top Ten – January 29, 2023

Colonia senior forward, Noah Taylor, is averaging 14.8 points and 8.5 rebounds in his past four games including a double-double of 24 points ands 11 rebounds in a 62-45 Patriots victory over Monroe on Saturday.

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The sixth week of the 2022-23 GMC boys basketball season is in the books, and there has been some more shuffling of the deck in the third 2023 edition of the GMC Hoops Top Ten.

With a solid week that included wins over Robbinsville (47-45), East Brunswick (60-47), and Monroe (62-45), and its buzzer beater win at South Brunswick on January 21st, Colonia has put itself back on track with four straight wins to move back up to No. 3 in the latest poll.

Old Bridge also moves into the Top 10 for the first time this season after wins over Perth Amboy (55-48) and J.P. Stevens (50-43). Current records in parenthesis.
