SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The regular season portion of the 2022-23 GMC boys basketball season is in the books, and there was a slight bit of tweaking to the fourth 2023 edition of the GMC Hoops Top Ten.
Not much change was done to the poll this week. The top 8 teams remain unchanged from last week. The only modifications came to the last two spots in the poll with Old Bridge and Spotswood changing spots.
With its recent crossover wins over Perth Amboy, Sayreville, and Edison along with a Red Division win over J.P. Stevens, coupled with a close loss on the road versus North Brunswick, and Spotswood’s second loss to Timothy Christian, Old Bridge moves up to No. 9. Current records in parenthesis.
