Here are video highlights from the first half of action between Newark Central and St. Anthony’s in the semifinal round of the 2011 Tournament of Champions at Monmouth University last week. Despite three first half fouls, junior swingman, Kyle Anderson paced the Friars with 15 points including 12 in the second half. Lucious Jones also chipped in with 15 points of his own. Patrick Cole led Newark Central with a team high 13 points. The Devils fell behind early, and trailed 15-7 at one point in the second period before dropping a couple threes including one by Rodney Carney to pull within two. Myles Mack ended the first half with the final five points, and scored the first two of the second half for a 29-20 lead. The Friars went on to win 55-39.
