Led by the likes of Leah Kearney, the Lady Trojans of St. Thomas Aquinas notched their ninth straight 20-win season.
Senior guard, Alijah Murphy helped top ranked St. Joseph’s have its first 20-win season since 2021-22, and tie for the Falcons’ second best season in school history.
Led by senior Victoria Zaniecki, who accounted for nearly half of Metuchen’s blocked shots, the Lady Bulldogs ranked second in both total blocks and blocks per game in 2025-26.
Led by freshman Valerie Figueroa, the South Amboy girls basketball team ranked second in steals per game and third in total steals in 2025-26.
Spearheaded by Trista Whitney, top-ranked St. Thomas Aquinas led the Greater Middlesex Conference in total assists and assists per game in 2025-26.
Spearheaded by Aidan Carter, top-ranked St. Joseph’s led the Greater Middlesex Conference in total assists and assists per game in 2025-26.
Led by senior Nashaelah Hooker, the Colonia Lady Patriots were among the leaders in the GMC in rebounding in 2025-26.
Led by junior Gabrielle Hill, the Spotswood Lady Chargers ranked third in the GMC in both free throws made and accuracy in 2025-26.
Two of the top three girls basketball teams in the GMC basketball teams in the GMC, St. Thomas Aquinas and Piscataway, were atop the polls from start to finish this year due to their ability to score. The Lady Trojans did it mostly by attacking the basket, while the Lady Chiefs dialed long distance.
In addition to being the leading three point shooting team in the GMC in 2025-26, Piscataway also led the conference in free throws made.
