Former GMC standouts, Marques Townes (St. Joseph’s/Cardinal McCarrick) and Jehyve Floyd (Sayreville), will be representing Middlesex County this Fourth of July Weekend in the opening round of The Basketball Tournament.
St. Joseph’s two-sport standout and 1,000 point scorer, Tyree Ford, shown here going up for a score against Dunellen in the 2020 GMCT Quarterfinals on February 23rd, has decided to attend Kean University and play football for the Cougars this fall.
The duo of former St. Joseph’s basketball standouts, Malachi Walker (#14) and Howard McBurnie (#5), shown here in action during the early part of the 2019-20 Drew men’s basketball season, have both earned honors from the Landmark Conference. Walker was honored as the conference’s 2019-20 Defensive Player of the Year while McBurnie was selected the 2019-20 Rookie of the Year.
