ISELIN, NJ–On Saturday afternoon, Bishop Ahr won the Championship of the Gene Haley Memorial Tournament for the first time since 1996. Here is a look at the history and past winners of the Gene Haley Memorial Tournament, which took place this year at J.F. Kennedy High School. The tournament has been in existence since 1992. GMC Hoops has been at every tournament since 2000 except for 2003 and 2008. In 2010, there was no tournament due to the Holiday Blizzard that struck on the Sunday before the tourney was to be played.
