MORGANVILLE, NJ–On Saturday night, GMC Hoops came out to the Central Jersey Basketball facility in the Morganville section of Marlboro Township in Monmouth County to see some action in the 2016 MJBL Spring League. In the nightcap game, the EB Knights led by Ryan Cumber fell prey to an 18-7 surge by Calvary Christian that turned a 13-13 tied with 5:07 left in the first half into a 31-20 lead with 13:31 to go in the second half, and held on for a seven point win. First Half
13:14–CC–takes a 9-4 lead after back to back buckets. Ryan Cumber closed EB to within 5-4 after a steal for a layup.
5:07–EBK–goes on a 9-4 run including a layup and 3 of 4 FTs by Ryan Cumber and a runner to tie game at 13-13.

Second Half
19:12–CC–scores first 4 points of half for 10-2 run and a 23-15 lead.
13:31–CC–good ball movement for a score for a 31-20 lead. On 18-7 run.
8:15–CC–after a 7-0 EBK run including layup by Ryan Cumber and a score by Jack Donahue to pull within four, CC scores 6 of next 9 for a 37-32 lead.
6:34–EBK timeout after a CC three from left side for a 40-34 lead. Ryan Cumber had a three earlier.
4:17–EBK–Gambino hits a jumper just inside the arc and banks in a contested three from the top of the key for a 44-40 CC lead.
49.6–EBK–timeout after a jumper in the middle of the paint and an easy layup by CC for a 48-40 CC lead.
0.0–CC–Despite a late long three from the left wing by Ryan Cumber, CC gets a layup to wrap up a 50-43 win.
