CARTERET, NJ–On Monday afternoon, GMC Hoops headed over to Carteret High School to see the fifth seeded Ramblers in action against 12th seeded Weequahic of Newark in the opening round of the 2013 Central Jersey Group II State Tournament. Trailing 14-7 late in the first period, the Ramblers ended the half with a 28-10 surge including 17 of the last 20 points of the second period for a 35-24 lead at the half, and then hung on to win 64-61 despite a late rally by the Indians.
