Celebrating the 10 Year Anniversary of One of the Greatest GMCT Finals Ever
Here is some old school footage of the 2005 GMCT Championship Game between 3rd seeded South Plainfield and 4th seeded St. Joseph’s. In a game that featured NBA star Andrew Bynum as well as Division I college standouts, Marquis Jones, Darren Smith, and Sean Baptiste, South Plainfield won its 2nd straight GMCT by the score of 66-65 thanks a last second shot by Marquis Jones over St. Joe’s Kevin Joyce. GMC Hoops voted it the Greatest Game in the first 5 years of the web site (2000-2005).
