Here is video footage of the final 2 minutes or so of action in Piscataway Tech’s Junior Varsity buzzer beating victory over Perth Amboy Tech on Friday evening. Besides the varsity tilt between these two long time rivals, the JV squads also battled in a game that went down to the wire. The score was tied at 50-50 with under two minutes to play. Piscataway Tech took a 52-50 lead on a pair of free throws by Kyle Gregory with 1:23 remaining in regulation.. The Junior Raiders held that edge until they committed a turnover with under 30 seconds to play. Amboy Tech then tied it on a layup that got a kind roll with 6.7 seconds left. After a timeout, Gregory then took the ensuing inbounds dribbled up the left side of the court, and sank a jumper at the buzzer for a 54-52 victory.
