Here is a slideshow of photos from the last 26:52 including overtime in the contest between third ranked Colonia and eighth ranked J.P. Stevens in North Edison. Trailing 35-26 midway through the third following a 13-0 Colonia tear, J.P. Stevens battled back with a 20-11 surge over the last 12 minutes of regulation including a three pointer by Mike Lionikis with 34.1 seconds left in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 46-46 and force overtime. However, in the extra session, Chase Barneys scored 6 of Colonia’s 8 points to lead the Patriots to a 54-49 win. Barneys finished with a game high 22 points while teammate Kolby Chapmann chipped in with 15. Lionikis ended up with a team high 15 to lead the Hawks while Alex Corrigan chipped in with 14 and Rishav Ghosh added 10.
